If you like nature at its best and want an escape from the turmoil of modern day life, this is the place to be. Westonbirt Arboretum is a magical world of trees. There are 18,000 of them from all over the world, planted from 1829 to the present day, producing 600 acres of beautifully landscaped Cotswold countryside. Visitors to Westonbirt can wander where they please along 17 miles of marked trails or simply sit in a leafy glade and admire some of the tallest, oldest and indeed the rarest trees and shrubs of their kind in the world. Westonbirt really is one of the worlds most outstanding arboretums and a place for all seasons.
