Windibops

March 19, 2016 @ 2:00 pm

WINDIBOPS BRINGS REAL SCIENCE TO CHILDREN IN A FUN AND COLOURFUL WAY,
AND ONE THING IS FOR SURE, YOU WILL BE LEAVING THE THEATRE BEING MORE
AWARE OF YOUR GUFFING ACTION.

Volta Flatulence, Caroline Trumpface and Daisy Parphead invite
audiences into the Windibops laboratory to investigate flatulence (yes
we mean farts) and whether it has an impact on global warming. Three
dancing scientists manoeuvre in this comical, fun world combining high
quality dance, humour, strange sounds, smells and amusing characters.
On arrival, audiences receive a lab coat and fart name, transforming
into farting scientists themselves and helping Volta, Caroline and
Daisy prepare for the arrival of Dr. Windibops.

Windibops is highly interactive and sections include live experiments
(silly and serious!) for collecting farts, illustration of digestion,
tests to discover the colour of your farts, and if you are desperate,
we have a parpline for all your farting troubles. The original
soundtrack includes sounds of our inner workings along with lab sounds
and beats.

Co-produced by Candoco Dance Company, co-commissioned by Greenwich
Dance & Trinity Laban Partnership, supported by artsdepot and Pavilion
Dace South West, with Grants for the Arts funding from Arts Council
England.
