What You Will, or Twelfth Night

Separated by an explosion at a tube station, twins Viola and Sebastian
both assume the other has perished. While Sebastian recuperates under
the loving eye of a new friend, Viola takes on her brother’s job at
a London film studio, headed by hopeless romantic Orsino.
As Viola falls for Orsino, his attention swaps between his production
of a catastrophically bad ‘Tommy’ inspired rock n roll flick and
his affections for tragic actress Olivia Illyria. Things quickly
spiral into chaos as cross-dressing Viola is entangled in the
hedonistic world of Olivia’s household and the machinations of her
uncle Toby and meddling writer, Feste.

What You Will is a comedy of mistaken identities and unrequited love
tri/quadrangles, a fully updated reworking of Shakespeare’s Twelfth
Night set in seventies London.
