A great day out for all the family with classic cars, shopping, pampering and children’s entertainment. All money raised goes to PAC

So here it is, our first big fundraising event for Positive Action on Cancer (PAC) and it’s this Sunday so please come along and help us raise as much as we can.

The clue is in the name. Together with our sponsors, Imperial Nannies, we’ve ensured there’ll be something for all the family and we extend an open invitation to you all.

Gents, you’ll be wowed from the moment you arrive. We’ll have a selection of classic cars for your perusal. You can look, you may even be able to touch and if the excitement gets too much you can refuel at the wonderful Ware’s the scone at (as seen on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces no less) who’ll be providing delicious afternoon cream teas from their vintage vehicles Daisy and Lu.

Ladies, inside you can shop until you drop then treat yourself to a pamper. Artizan Bartlett St will be providing up-do’s and haircuts (plus a barber for the boys) at their pop-up vintage salon and we’ll have vintage makeovers courtesy of the talented students from the Bath Academy of Media Makeup to complete your fabulous new look.

Our younger guests are in for a treat too. Glyn from Rocky’s Magic Parties (highly recommended by Bath Mums!) will provide trickery and balloon modelling throughout the morning. Jonothan from Play-up Bath will be with us in the afternoon for some circus workshops. Throughout the day Nicki ‘the decoupage queen’ from The Creation Station Bath will be on hand with some children’s vintage crafts and local author Vicky Edwards will be in our very special storytelling teepee. We also have a pop-up fairground from Sirona Care & Health with hook a duck, skittles, tin can alley and more nostalgic games, and the fabulous Super Pirates will be on hand for some face-painting and fun.

Our diner will be stocked with sweet and savoury delights courtesy of Best of British Deli, Caroline’s Cakes and K&M Cakes. Sainsbury’s Odd Down will have healthy snack bags for the children (limited availability) and as you wander round you’ll see the vintage ice-cream tricycle and ‘Floss in a barrel’ (candy floss) from Living the Cream.

You’ll need a little rest as during the afternoon we’ll be drawing our raffle, prizes include:
•£160 voucher from Barrett & Coe Photographers
•Cookery class with Rachel Demuth
•Classic kids party from Super Pirates (worth £145)
•Meal for 2 at Acorn
•Lunch for 2 at Allium
•Signed ball from Bath Rugby
•Kids VW tent
•Cut and blowdry from Artizan Bartlett St
•Navy polka dot carry bag from Wool with 10 yarns of wool, bamboo knitting needles (worth £100)
•Marvel goodie bag
•Secondhand children’s solid wood ride-on plane, with upholstered seat (very slightly scratched)
•£25 Makery gift voucher and a child’s craft kit
•Bloomsbury Gift
•x6 Family Hampers

We’ve set-up a Facebook event page so do let us know you’re coming.

This event has been made possible thanks to the generosity of a huge number of people and businesses in the community who we’re delighted to be collaborating with. Every penny raised will help PAC push forward and support more families through their most crucial time of need so bring the kids, granny & granddad too, we look forward to seeing you all.
