no 1

An exhibition of dolls’ houses from the 18th and 19th centuries

For centuries, dolls’ houses have sparked the imaginations of people of all ages, who have been fascinated by the miniature details of these small worlds. Highlights include a dolls’ house made in Bristol for the children of local chocolate maker Francis Fry in c.1840 (‘The Fry House’), and the Georgian ‘Bellamy House’ displayed with all its original furnishings.

Small Worlds is a unique opportunity to explore the collection of Liza Antrim and share her passion. See this collection through the eyes of its restorer, as she takes you through the fascinating stories behind each house.

The exhibition is free with a normal admission ticket to No. 1 Royal Crescent.

Our opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 10.30am to 5.30pm. On Mondays we open at 12noon until 5.30pm.
Last entry is 4.30pm.
