Sid Griffin

Founder of the recently reunited Long Ryders, Sid Griffin is without question one of the architects of Americana and alt-country. After relocating to Britain in the 1990s, Griffin formed The Coal Porters, an acoustic five-piece which mixes folk, country, and bluegrass to considerable effect. A noted raconteur and archetypally up-tempo Kentucky native, Griffin is equally at home on 12-string guitar, mandolin, or banjo.

All Music Series events begin at 2pm in the Stables performance space and are included with gardens admission (unless otherwise stated).

The Music Series is programmed by Michael Bassett on behalf of the American Museum in Britain
