The Roving Crows

Award Winning – Folk Fusion.

The Roving Crows weave together a rich tapestry of sounds taking the audience across musical boundaries into the world of Folk, Celtic and Country-Rock.  They are indefinable, unique and completely absorbing.

The Roving Crows released their new album ‘Deliberate Distractions’ on 4th Nov, to 4* reviews in the Financial Times and R2 Magazine amongst many more.

The Roving Crows’ line-up boasts fiery fiddle playing, trumpet, guitar, drums, bass and vocals, comprising of:

Caitlin Barrett – Fiddle player, singer and co-founder of The Roving Crows. An experienced musician with a vast repertoire, her strident and formidable fiddle style has been developed over many years of self-study.

Paul O’Neill – Lead singer, guitarist, and front man of The Roving Crows, Paul is a founder member of the band, with a background in theatre and writing he scribes all lyrics for the band.

Greg Wilson-Copp – Trumpet player and backing vocals – Having recently studied Music Technology at Birmingham UCE he has many years of performance experience with various different groups.

Tim Tolhurst – Drummer and backing vocals – Recently graduated in popular music at the University of Gloucestershire; his dynamic, multi-faceted style has been influenced by the likes of Manu Katche, Omar Hakim and Peter Erskine

Lawrence Shaw – The most recent addition to the band, Loz’s bass playing resembles that of Bakithi Kumalo ad Steve Digiorgio. Also an avid music producer, his musical background started out playing guitar in thrash metal bands while studying Music Technology.
