An Adult Workshop with Penelope Makower, Principal of Bishopsland Educational Trust, and Rachel Jones with assistance from members of the Bishopsland course
This one-day silversmithing course will introduce you to some of the basic techniques of silversmithing. Led by Penelope Makower you will create a unique hall-marked silver ring of your own design.
Bishopsland is a very small postgraduate college teaching silversmithing. It is the only private college of its kind in England. Since it started, 178 smiths have passed through its course and 67% are still working in silversmithing or jewellery.
