Prints exploring the architecture of Bath

June 14, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until June 19, 2016

Carole Anne Tonge presents an exhibition of recent prints exploring
Bath’s architecture in detail.
This is Carole’s second summer exhibition in the two room gallery at
44AD. The large collagraphs are anything but conventional, with
classical Georgian features forming a backdrop to the bustle of modern
Bath. Smaller etchings are more intimate, concentrating on refracted
shadows and patterns in windowpanes. Further new work explores
interior detail, in particular what fragments remain as time
advances.
Contemporary jeweller, Su Trindle, will also be showing work reacting
to the themes in Carole’s prints.

Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 6pm. Sunday 11am – 4pm.
