Movie by Moonlight 2017

Save the date and let all your friends know – Movie by Moonlight is
returning to Bath’s Royal Victoria Park in Bath on Saturday 2nd
September! Come along and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment
under the stars at this year’s outdoor film screening showing Baz
Luhrmann’s Oscar-winning musical Moulin Rouge.

Starring Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman, Moulin Rouge was nominated
for eight Oscars at the 74th Academy Awards in 2001 – winning for
Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.

You don’t need a ticket for the event – just turn up from 5pm and
make a donation on the gate, with all funds raised on the night going
towards The Forever Friends Appeal’s RUH Cancer Care Campaign – to
help build a pioneering new Cancer Centre for the Royal United
Hospital in Bath.

The film will start at approximately 8.30pm, but do arrive as close to
5pm as possible to pass through security and secure a good spot. We
recommend that you bring warm clothes and a torch for later in the
evening. You’ll be able to grab a bite to eat from one of our
fabulous food outlets whilst enjoying the film.

Please note: Movie by Moonlight operates in partnership with RS
Security. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink however
glass bottles will not be allowed onto site and all bags will be
checked upon entry.

Unfortunately children under the age of 12 will not be permitted onto
site due to the 12A film certificate rating.
