Grab your friends for a special evening with live jazz and a sumptuous banquet from Jaq (menu below). Greeted with a welcome glass of champagne or mulled wine, how best to start getting into the festive spirit.

Menu

Glass of champagne or mulled cider on arrival with an amuse bouche

To start
‘Jaq at Iford’ mushroom, walnut and spinach risotto with shavings of truffle and parmesan served with a parmesan cheese straw

Main course
Rose harissa beef sirloin with pepper and lemon sauce, with paprika, tomatoes and parsley; or

Salmon fishcakes, served on a bed of wilted spinach with a thrice cooked chip tower and fresh aioli; or

Spiced lentil shepherds pie with a sesame oil mash

Sides (all served to each table)
Baby chantenay carrots with a reduction of Somerset butter and maple syrup; and

Maris piper potato cubes in a drizzle of rose harissa and a cônfît of garlic; and

Crispy Brussels sprouts in butter with pancetta, chestnuts and freshly ground black pepper; and

Braised Red cabbage in a gently spiced pomegranate reduction

Puds
Panettone bread and butter pudding with apricot preserve and grappa drenched sultanas, served with Chantilly cream; or

Jaq’s famous frangipani mince pie tartlets served with creme fraiche

To Finish
Cube of chocolate fridge cake with sultanas, pistachios and mint

Supper club timings

19:30 – arrive after this time and be greeted with a welcome drink;
20:00 – food served; and
22:15 – finish

Please note, no refunds will be given except where the event has to be cancelled or postponed by us, or where we have been able to resell your tickets to the waiting list if you have told us in advance that you cannot attend. This includes for self-isolation reasons.
