13 – 19 Apr 2015 at Dyrham Park National Trust west garden

Join an expert gardener for a free daily guided walk around Dyrham Park’s west garden as it comes to life this spring with a glorious array of fabulous tulips

See thousands of carefully placed tulips lining the borders at Dyrham Park to create a wow of colour, and a beautiful collection to discover of different species with an emphasis on heritage varieties. As part of Dyrham Park’s spring garden walk amongst the tulips you can also learn about the garden’s history, the colourful characters that shaped the garden over time, the planting schemes we employ and have a look at the Perry orchard, the ponds and fern garden as well as the formal borders. Allow us to lead you round the twisting pathways to discover the plants that are looking their very best and learn a little about the historical trees that grace the garden too.

Normal admission charges to the park and garden apply, however it is free entry to all National Trust members. Walks start daily from the Stable Courtyard at 12pm, and on your way back stop by the café for an afternoon cream tea.
