Mozart – Duo in G major K 423
Martinu – Three Madrigals
Mozart – Duo in B flat major K 424

The Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud and the British violist Lawrence Power, both greatly in demand internationally as soloists and chamber musicians, combine in the two rarely heard Duos which Mozart “ghost-wrote” for his former Salzburg colleague Michael Haydn when Haydn was unwell. The Duos’ richness of invention and sonority finds a 20th-century match in the Three Madrigals by the Czech-born Bohuslav Martinu
