A rare opportunity to experience a performance straight from the early 1800s

Mr Rauzzini spares neither expense nor trouble for this concert worthy of partronage…

The internationally renowned male soprano Robert Crowe, will perform repertoire that the great ‘superstar’ castrato, Venanzio Rauzzini, presented in Bath whilst Jane Austen lived here. The programme consists of works by Mozart, Haydn, Handel and Rauzzini, including Haydn’s Farewell Symphony, Handel’s Water Music and of course Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate, which was written especially for Rauzzini.
