Children’s Literature is where stories have their start, where literary culture is constantly recreated. Like children themselves, it can be hilarious and troubled, barmy and profound. This lecture, by our Artistic Director and Visiting Professor of Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, celebrates children’s own creativity, from which we all have much to learn. And it celebrates and explores their literature, which evades easy classifications, and which should give hope to us all.
