A 17th Century Christmas At Dyrham Park
November 11, 2016 @ 10:00 am - December 23, 2016 @ 4:00 pm
Enjoy a 17th-century Christmas in the house this year, alongside our popular reindeer trail which returns to the park.
We’re embracing our 17th-century roots this Christmas as the house offers a glimpse into the christmasses of years gone by.
We’re teaming up with the parish church next door, to offer Christmas carol sessions and will be welcoming back the popular reindeer trail outdoors.
As well as having the chance to spot real deer, there will be a reindeer trail across the park with rustic model deer hiding in all sorts of places. This self-guided tour provides fun for all the family as you look for the cute little deer hiding around the place.
What Christmas would be complete without a mince pie and a drop of something mulled? Why not pop in our tea-room for a full range of hot drinks and treats.
Indoors, you can explore Mr Blathwayt’s apartment, where you can also sample our 17th-century hot chocolate with its special spicy ingredients. You could even try and recreate it thanks to our handy recipe. more
