The Jane Austen Centre is a captivating family attraction that relates the life and times of the landmark 19th century authoress. It is signposted across Bath and just 15 minutes walk away from the train station The family attraction is located in a Grade II listed Georgian pile on Gay Street, where the novelist resided in 1805, not far from Queen Square and the Circus. The Jane Austen Centre, a permanent exhibition featuring displays of the places from Jane Austen’s Bath; her life and family; Georgian Bath; a formal Georgian garden; the settings of her 2 Bath novels; film costumes; a specially made video; a Georgian shop front and lots more.
