Cooking at it’s Best

You will have to go a long way to beat the range of cooking opportunities in Bath. All tastes are catered for and there can be no doubt about the quality of that on offer. Below is just a taste of what is available.
And don’t forget, for all your culinary needs, there is Bath’s famous Kitchen shop – a paradise for any budding chef.
The Bertinet Kitchen
The Bertinet Kitchen opened in September 2005 in the centre of beautiful and historic Bath. Owned and run by French chef and baker, Richard Bertinet, the school offers a range of relaxed and fun courses for food lovers of all abilities and specialist baking and bread-making courses for amateurs and professionals alike.
Simi’s Kitchen
“My informal cookery courses are perhaps more akin to dinner at a friend’s house than a formal class. We nibble, drink, chat, cook and then eat the food we have prepared. The evening ends with Iranian sweets and chai. Come, prepare and enjoy examples of the celebrated cuisine of Persia and especially Azerbaijan, with me, in my home in the beautiful city of Bath.”
The Vegetarian Cookery School / Demuths
The Cookery School is based in the centre of Bath, near to Demuths Restaurant in a wonderful Georgian building, with a super purpose built kitchen, light and airy and the best views of Bath Abbey.
The cookery school is run by Rachel Demuth, the owner of the award winning Demuths Restaurant. Since 2001 we have been running an exciting and varied selection of courses for mixed abilities from complete beginner to accomplished cook.
Fudge Kitchen
At Fudge Kitchen we’ve been hand-crafting our special recipe fudge for over 25 years using traditional methods and a lot of love. So, you’ll find our fudge is different to any that you’ve ever tasted before. It’s made with fresh whipping cream instead of butter which makes it smooth, soft, creamy and delicious. All of the flavours are also gluten free unless they say otherwise
