Look out, there’s a new online delivery service taking to the streets of Bath this Spring! Hailing from Bristol, Good Sixty have partnered up with Bath’s beloved eco delivery pedallist, Three Bags Full to provide Bathonians a chance to shop at their favourite independent and artisan businesses and have their order delivered straight to their doorstep in an eco-friendly way!
The Good Sixty Team
What’s more it’s a really simple service to use, all you have to do is go to the website and pop in your postcode and away you go! There’s a huge variety of local businesses to choose from, such as Goodies Deli in Larkhall, to the Greengrocers on Chelsea Road, even The Fish Shop in Oldfield Park is there! Once you’ve decided on what’s in your shopping bag, you can choose your delivery time and pay in one single payment and et voila, have your goodies delivered via an eco friendly cargo bike! Amazing eh?!
Created by fellow neighbouring Bristolian Chris Edwards, Good Sixty was created in order to allow small indie businesses to flourish and band together against the larger national retailers that may have threatened the prosperity of his local high street of Gloucester Road in Bristol…
Since it’s launch Good Sixty has built a loyal customer base of those who want the convenience of buying and supporting local businesses, coupled with the prospect of reducing packaging and the ethical use of delivery cargo bikes. The retailers reap the benefits of an extra revenue stream too so it’s a win-win situation for the community and all local retailers involved! The natural progression to expand to Bath follows a crowd-funding project by Chris that exceeded all expectations, raising 25% more than its original target thanks to ethical investors and supporters from both Bristol and Bath who could understand the need for a service to support the local community and independent businesses within that community, whilst making it a green service that is accessible to everyone in the area!!

Good Sixty Co-Founder, Chris Edwards says,
“I’m amazed by the amount of great independent shops and small-scale producers in Bath and I know many residents want to ‘shop local’ but simply don’t have the time to get to each separate shop or hunt out local, specialist producers. Good Sixty is the answer, allowing people to browse and buy from Bath’s best indies, at their convenience, in every sense of the word”
“And the service we provide is also an essential tool for small food businesses in this digital age, helping Bath’s retailers and producers share their passion, reach new customers and therefore compete with the ‘Big Guys’. Consumer demand for better, ethical, convenient food is at an all-time high and it has been proven time and again: shopping locally has a positive impact on our neighbourhoods, ploughing money back into the local economy and strengthening communities.”
